Security tightened for KCR after death threat

Koratla MLA Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday received a threat call where an unidentified person threatened to kill Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR who was invited by Peddapalli MP Balka Suman to attend his sister's wedding ceremony reached Metpally in Karimnagar district on Wednesday. The miscreant threatened to kill KCR during his Karimnagar visit and the police identified it as an internet call.

While the Intelligence Bureau have been informed, the police are further probing the matter and tightened the security of the Chief Minister following the death threat. Police forces increased at Karimnagar on Wednesday to avoid any untoward incident.
