Karimnagar: Vemulawada Temple Development Authority Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Muddasani Purusotham Reddy vowed to strive hard for the development of Vemulawda Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple. Speaking to reporters at temple on Tuesday, Purusotham Reddy said that shrine would be developed in a phased manner according to the instruction of Srungeri Peetadipathi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Works of tanks, shrine premises, queue lines and bus stand would be taken up in a phased manner, he said. Besides temple, surrounding areas would also be developed, said local MLA Ch Ramesh Babu. He said that Rs 100 crore worth works would be taken up under the Temple Development Authority.
