Nizamabad: District Collector Yogita Rana warned the Government hospital doctors and para-medical staff that disciplinary action would be taken against them if they failed to attend to their duties on time. On Wednesday, the District Collector made a surprise visit to the Armoor Government hospital in the town and found that a physician Dr Narayana, a dentist Dr Nagaraju and a clerk Vamshi Priya were absent.

Expressing her anger over the absence of the medical staff, she directed the DMHO to take disciplinary action against them and issue show cause notices to all the staff who failed to attend to their duties. The District Collector told the district officials to immediately introduce the bio-metric attendance system in all the government hospitals and said that the senior officers of the hospital should daily send the details of the attendance of doctors and staff to the District Collector through ‘Skype’ from 9 AM to 9.30 PM.

Expressing her unhappiness over tardy implementation of Janani Suraksha Yojana and directed the hospital staff that they should release the amount to the patients who underwent surgeries.
