Two persons killed in road mishap
Two persons died and four injured in a road accident on the National highway No. 44 at Jakranpally mandal headquarters in the district on Wednesday. According to the Jakranpally Sub-Inspector of Police Sridhar Goud, Marri Ravi was a resident of Gannaram village of Dichpally mandal. He and his family members were on their way to Gannaram village in a car after participating in a function at Armoor.
Nizamabad: Two persons died and four injured in a road accident on the National highway No. 44 at Jakranpally mandal headquarters in the district on Wednesday. He and his family members were on their way to Gannaram village in a car after participating in a function at Armoor.
On the way, Ravi who was at the wheels lost control while trying to avoid hitting a stray dog which came on the road. and hit the flyover railings forcefully. In this accident, while Marri Ravi( 37) and his niece Yenugu Ramya (24) were seriously injured, their relatives Naitika, Mokshith Reddy, Jeevan Reddy and Humavva escaped with minor injuries.
Ravi and Ramya died while they were being shifted to government hospital in Nizamabad town. Police shifted the injured personnel to Nizamabad and provided medical treatment. The Jakranpally police registered a case and took up investigation.
