A three-day ninth national level meeting of All India Coal Federation, affiliated to CITU, will be held in Godavarikhani from Sunday.
Karimnagar: A three-day ninth national level meeting of All India Coal Federation, affiliated to CITU, will be held in Godavarikhani from Sunday.
Besides trade union leaders, regular and contract employees working in different coal mine across the country will be taking part in the meetings. Privatisation of coal mines and pay revision are going to be figured out in the meetings.
They are also going to demand the government that they cancel contract and outsourcing system and regularise the services of existing employees. Osmania University faculty Prof K Nageshwar and Mallepalli Laxmaiah will deliver lectures on the situation in coal mines.
