71 vehicles seized in cordon and search operation
Cyberabad Police on Sunday detained seven persons including history-sheeters along with 71 vehicles that have no valid documents during a cordon and search operation under the jurisdiction of Kukatpally police station.
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police on Sunday detained seven persons including history-sheeters along with 71 vehicles that have no valid documents during a cordon and search operation under the jurisdiction of Kukatpally police station.
The operation at Sattar Nagar and Moosapet in Kukatpally was started at around 4 am on Sunday and continued till 6 am, in which about 200 policemen including from Armed Reserve battalions led by Madhapur DCP Karthikeya participated.
The Cyberabad police informed that they have seized 61 bikes, seven autos, three cars including a jeep registered in Maharashtra and also three domestic gas cylinders that were illegally found in possession and some liquor bottles. Two persons who were suspected to be involved in property offenses, three history-sheeters and two others were taken into custody during the operation, the police said.
