A case was booked against the driver under rash and negligent driving. The officials of GHMC met the family members of the deceased woman and consoled them. On Monday, the mayor held a meeting at his office and said Rs 5 lakh towards the insurance and Rs 2 lakh from the CM's relief fund and Rs 2 lakh from the Mayor’s fund has been announced as ex gratia.
