Earlier, Akbaruddin Owaisi alleged that the BJP was trying to impose the ideology of Sangh Pariwar. He said the BJP and Union government were trying to blacken the name of the TRS government. The Congress member Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka rebutted that the Congress was trying to take political mileage out of Rohith’s death.

He said the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had asked his party leaders to stay away from the University. He said the Congress had no need to take lessons from BJP on unity and sovereignty of the country. He said “Manuwada principles” would not be imposed on India. YSRCP member P Venkateshwarlu, CPI member Ravindra Kumar, CPI (M) member Sunnam Rajaiah also spoke.
