Rains bring respite to Hyderabad
Denizens of Hyderabad heaved a sigh of relief from the scorching heat wave conditions on Sunday when several parts of the city and some parts of Telangana witnessed showers. Showers were witnessed in areas of Kapra, Boduppal, Uppal, Koti, Abids, Dilsukhnagar, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and other areas in the city, while. Karimnagar witnessed a hail storm.

According to Met officials these rains are attributed to the formation of Nimbus clouds in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. “These rains will occur for a short duration,” the official added. The temperature in the city would remain constant (around 44 degrees Celsius) till this summer, he clarified.
