According to Met officials these rains are attributed to the formation of Nimbus clouds in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. “These rains will occur for a short duration,” the official added. The temperature in the city would remain constant (around 44 degrees Celsius) till this summer, he clarified.

Karimnagar and Mahbubnagar districts witnessed isolated rains in a few areas. Met officials predicted heat wave conditions over the State up to April 21. The highest temperature in Hyderabad was 44 degrees Celsius on Sunday afternoon.
