Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao came to the rescue of four members of a poor distressed tribal family in Nalgonda district by providing pensions to four of them and a job to their attendant.

The Minister came to know about the difficulties of the family members through Twitter. Ramavat Bichya and Hamali of Nalgonda district had four children including three sons and a daughter.

Sons Ravi Nayak, Babu Nayak and daughter Lakshmi were suffering with an unknown nerve disease and were paralysed.

Recently the father was also affected by the disease and was restricted to bed forcing the mother to bore the burden of the family.

After the issue was brought to the notice of the Minister, he asked the officials to inquire and provide necessary help.
After a report from the District Medical Health Office (DMHO), the Minister directed the District Collector to provide pensions to four members of the family and also a job to the attendant of these four persons.

Social media hailed the decision of the Minister and said that it was a Mother’s Day gift to the poor tribal woman.
