Fresh EAMCET for Telangana medical students

However, owing to the pressure from various states, the Centre had agreed to promulgate an ordinance to defer the decision of NEET entrance exam for a year.
Nevertheless, the Telangana state government announced on Friday that a fresh EAMCET exam would be conducted for the medical and dental seats. Meanwhile, after getting a clearance over NEET, the AP government released the medical stream results of the Eamcet on Saturday.
The Union Cabinet cleared the ordinance on Friday putting a hold on the Supreme Court order that said all government colleges, deemed universities and private medical colleges would be covered under Neet. However, the deferred order has brought in a relief for the students who challenged in court that their syllabus is completely different.
