Warangal: Increasing corruption in the country has been affecting the development of the nation, lamented noted writer and Kendra Sahitya Akademi award recipient Ampasayya Naveen.

He called upon the youth to come forward and play active role to curb corruption in the country. For that Lok Satta Udhyama Samstha would serve as an effective platform for the youth to make the people aware of the dangers of bribery, he said.

Naveen inaugurated new premises of Lok Satta Udhyama Samstha in Hanamkonda on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on the need for the people to be alert of corrupt persons.

The government remained helpless when a business man Vijay Mallya escaped from India after evading hundreds of crores of taxes, he said adding the silence of the people towards corruption would lead to dangerous situation.

A pamphlet of the conference was released on the occasion.
