Open School results announced
The State government on Tuesday declared the results of Open School Society examinations held for Intermediate and Class X recently. While 49.69 per cent students qualified in Intermediate, 43.39 per cent cleared in X class.
Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday declared the results of Open School Society examinations held for Intermediate and Class X recently. While 49.69 per cent students qualified in Intermediate, 43.39 per cent cleared in X class.
The results were announced by Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari. Releasing the results at Secretariat here on Tuesday, the Deputy Chief Minister said that efforts would be made to ensure that pass percentage is increased to a certain extent.
Referring to hefty fees being collected by private colleges, schools and institutions, which are facing wrath from parents, the Deputy CM said that the government was controlling them. “We are on the job to put a tab on such institutions, which should not levy heavy burden on parents in the name of fees,” he said.
The government would soon issue guidelines to these institutions with regard to fees structure. He also said that a schedule of Engineering admissions would be announced on Tuesday evening.
