Blood donors felicitated
District Additional Joint Collector Venkat Rao stated that blood donation was an auspicious event and people have to come forward to donate blood voluntarily to save other’s lives.
Nalgonda: District Additional Joint Collector Venkat Rao stated that blood donation was an auspicious event and people have to come forward to donate blood voluntarily to save other’s lives. On Tuesday, World Blood Donors’ Day was organised on a grand note at Red Cross buildings in Nalgonda. Addressing the gathering, the AJC briefed the importance of blood donation and crucial role of Red Cross in creating awareness on blood donation in the public.
Red Cross district chairman Goli Amerender Reddy presided over the function and the members of Red Cross across the district participated in the programme. On the occasion, AJC Venkat Rao felicitated the frequent blood donors and organisers who conducted blood donation camps at various places in the district.
