RTC bus runs over biker dies
According to the Bowenpally police, the deceased identified as D Srinivas (35) hails from Shahpur in Ranga Reddy district. He was working at Priya Foods in Uppal.
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old private employee from Shahpur was killed in a road accident when he tried to overtake a RTC bus on Saturday morning.
According to the Bowenpally police, the deceased identified as D Srinivas (35) hails from Shahpur in Ranga Reddy district. He was working at Priya Foods in Uppal.
On Saturday morning, Srinivas was going to his office from home on a bike (TS 07 EY 3302). As soon as he reached Bowenpally X roads, he attempted to overtake a RTC bus, but the bus hit him and he came under the rear tyres of the bus.
The Bowenpally police said Srinivas was wearing a helmet, but due to the weight of the bus, death was inescapable for him. The bus driver was taken into custody for questioning and a case under section 304 has been booked for investigation, the
police said.
