Hyderabad: The two judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale and Justice P Naveen Rao on Tuesday disposed of a batch of writ appeals filed by the JNTU, Hyderabad, on the MTech courses for four different set of colleges.

The bench said that the deficiencies pointed out by the authorities had been complied with by the colleges. The bench refused to look into the factual aspect. The bench said the AICTE and the JNTU (H) would look into the same and pass final orders within a period of 10 days and communicate the same to the management of the Colleges.

St. Marys College and others are the writ petitioners. The bench left it open to the colleges to take appropriate steps if they were aggrieved by any final order made in this regard by the authorities. The objection in most of the cases was the lack of PhD faculty in the colleges.
