​Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Tuesday said that the government was committed for regulating fee in all schools in the city. He said that orders have already been issued to all schools to ensure that they formed parents committees.

Talking to media after a review meeting here, Srihari said that the Education Department had issued notices to 12 international schools and 162 private schools for charging high fee.

Referring to the allotment of seats in engineering colleges, Srihari said that 66,000 seats in various engineering colleges had been allotted so far. He said 70 colleges which were denied affiliation, had gone to court but still the government had issued notices to all of them.

The Minister further said that the government would appoint Vidya Volunteers by July 31. He added that it would also appoint vice-chancellors to various universities by July 31.
