Officials told to complete Pushkaralu works

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Tuesday instructed officials to complete all works, including construction of bathing ghats and road network, before the beginning of Krishna Pushkaralu in Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar districts on August 12.

The official enquired about the progress in creating parking places for vehicles, toilets, widening of roads and security arrangements across the river bank.

He directed the health and medical department officials to deploy mobile health teams during Pushkaralu and also make arrangements for the conduct of cultural programmes. Rajiv Sharma stressed the need for the coordination between all departments for the smooth conduct of Pushkaralu.
