Folk artistes rally flagged off
Medak District Collector Ronald Rose on Monday flagged off a rally of folk artistes as part of the ongoing Folk Art Fair (August 22 to 31). The rally started at Bhudevi Gardens and moved towards Baviskhanapool.

The artistes of Telangana Samskrutika Saradhi, Chindu, professional folk arts and Yakshaganam performed while taking out the procession. Similarly, artistes played Bathukamma.
Budagajangalu, Kappa Kadava and Sadhanasurulu presented their art forms. Siddipeta municipal chairman K Rajanars graced the occasion as chief guest. Bhavani folk artistes’ team enthralled the audiences with their impressive performance. Later, the performers were felicitated with shawls.
