Hyderabad: Public sector telecom operator BSNL has launched unlimited broadband plan in urban and rural areas in Telangana and AP, which comes with the “lowest cost of less than Rs 1 per GB download”.

As a part of its customer-friendly schemes for the benefit of customers and also to attract new customers to experience its broadband services, the BSNL has launched an affordable promotional unlimited broadband plan ‘Experience Unlimited BB 249’, said L Anantharam, Chief General Manager, Telangana, BSNL.

The new plan comes with feature such as 2 Mbps speed, 1 GB data, 1 Mbps Post FUP speed, rent free landline, free night calling from 9 pm to 7 am on any network within India and Sunday free calling to any network.

Being offered with no installation charges, the plan costs less than Rs 1 per GB data download. This new plan is being offered for a limited period on promotional basis up to Oct. 31.

Customers can continue under ‘Experience UL BB 249’ plan for a period of 6 months and after 6 months, the plan will be converted to ‘BBG Combo Unlimited 470’ plan with the customer’s consent.

BSNL has also introduced another new broadband plan ‘BBG Combo ULD 1199’ with flat 2 Mbps speed, rent free Landline and 24 hours unlimited free calls (Local+STD) to any network in India and unlimited download without reduction in speed.
