Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandashekar Rao is understood to have expressed his displeasure over the functioning of some of Cabinet colleagues. During the four-hour long meeting, KCR expressed his dissatisfaction over some of the Ministers failing to play proactive role and effectively counter the opposition parties on various issues.

The Chief Minister reportedly told Ministers concerned that though Telangana State government was far ahead of many other states in implementing development and welfare programmes, the Ministers had failed to take them to the people.

The Ministers, who are said to have come to the adverse notice of the Chief Minister, are Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, Health Minsiter C Laxma Reddy and Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

According to sources, KCR directed the Ministers to take keen interest in Mission Bhagiratha project and hold review meetings at district level and closely monitor its implementation. He is said to have reprimanded the Minister for failing to do so.

KCR said there were many other issues like health cards not being accepted by hospitals and private hospitals going on strike alleging that the government had not cleared the dues of Arogyasri. The Health Minister, KCR reportedly said, should have reacted in time and resolved the issue.

Delay in resolving such issues would give bad name to the government and provide a chance to the Opposition to target the government. The Chief Minister had reportedly fired a volley of questions at Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari over the fee reimbursement issue.
