Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has sanctioned Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to Pidamarthi Nagaraju of Rayanigudem village in Garidepally Mandal in Nalgonda district, who was severely injured in a suicide attempt during the Telangana movement.
The Chief Minister’s Office has given Rs 10 lakh assistance to Nagaraju on Friday. It was on August 15, 2011, when Nagaraju attempted suicide by jumping before a train in Miryalguda. However, he survived with severe injuries.
