A two-year-old is suffering from a rare liver disorder - Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC) and needs an emergency liver transplantation costing Rs 22 lakh.
A two-year-old is suffering from a rare liver disorder - Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC) and needs an emergency liver transplantation costing Rs 22 lakh.
The boy, Nihaal Prian suffers from an intense itching and ends up scratching his body rigorously day and night resulting in bleeding. His parents who are daily wage labourers have consulted many hospitals, doctors, tried many medicines to subside the itching but now they have resorted to online crowd funding platform Impact Guru to generate the money for his treatment.
The couple had earlier approached the state government but they were not provided any financial support. While the doctors stated that the boy can survive with liver transplantation, his mother has agreed to be the donor.
Now, the couple are hoping that the people come forward to help their son to get new life with the crowd funding and generate Rs 9 lakh.
