Peddler reveals it all about Ravi Teja

​Hyderabad: More skeletons from the entertainment industry seem to tumble out in the days to come as more vital inputs were being provided by arrested drug peddlers and questioning of the film personalities daily about the drug racket.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Prohibition and Excise Department on Saturday took two drug peddlers – Zeeshan Ali and Noah William – into their custody after taking permission from the court and thoroughly questioned them.

Sources said Zeeshan had disclosed interesting information related to actor Ravi Teja, to whom the SIT had already issued notice asking him to appear for enquiry.

Zeeshan is said to have told the interrogators that he had procured drugs from South Africa and supplied the same to Ravi Teja and some others through the actor. Following the information, the SIT is getting ready to grill the actor when he appears in due course of time.

After questioning Ravi Teja, the SIT is likely to issue notices to some more people from the entertainment industry, including two members of a family that is into film industry for decades, sources said.

Meanwhile, SIT officials said actress Charmme Kaur has confirmed to them that she will attend for questioning at the SIT office.

It may be recalled that the actress earlier sought a change of place in view of media glare, but it appears she was willing to come to the SIT office after noticing the smooth way other actors were questioned at the SIT office.
