The Staff Selection Commission will conduct its flagship examination i.e. Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier – I) in Computer Based Mode from 5th to 22nd August for 322,258 candidates in Southern Region.

Hyderabad: The Staff Selection Commission will conduct its flagship examination i.e. Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier – I) in Computer Based Mode from 5th to 22nd August for 322,258 candidates in Southern Region.

The examination will be held in 40 venues located at 15 Centres (cities/towns) viz. Chittoor, Guntur, Kurnool, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh; Hyderabad and Warangal in Telangana; Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu; Puducherry in Union Territory of Puducherry.

Examination will be held in two batches for the first two days on 5th and 6th August, and three batches from 8th to 22nd August. Timings of Batch I: 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM, Batch II: 01.15 PM to 02.15 PM and Batch III: 04.15 PM to 05.15 PM.

Southern Regional Office has already posted basic details like Date, Time and City of the examination in its Website (www.sscsr.gov.in)so that candidates can know these in advance. The candidates can also download e-Admission Admission Certificate only seven days before their actual date of examination from the same site. These details are also intimated to the candidates by SMS to the phone numbers and e-mail to the mail IDs provided by the candidates in their Online application.

Candidates have been asked to note that they shall not be permitted to take up the examination without e-Admission Certificate and Original valid Identity Proof enumerated in the Instructions. All the candidates are, therefore, requested to download their e-Admission Certificate seven days before their actual date of examination without fail.
