The Haj Camp 2017 commenced today with the arrival of the Haj Pilgrims of the first two flights for reporting at Haj House in Nampally.

Hyderabad: The Haj Camp 2017 commenced today with the arrival of the Haj Pilgrims of the first two flights for reporting at Haj House in Nampally.

Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel and Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor received the pilgrims at the Haj Camp and wished them a happy journey and acceptance of their Haj.

The first Haj Flight will take off at 2:50 am on 14th August from the Haj Terminal of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The pilgrims, clad in Ehram (Two white unsewn sheets of cloths) will leave the Haj Camp for airport in Special RTC buses in the night of 13th August. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will flag off the first flight both the Haj Camp and the Haj Terminal. Higher government officials and dignitaries will be present on both the occasions. Altogether 14 flights with 450 pilgrims each will leave for Jeddah carrying pilgrims from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
