Bhongir: District Congress Committee president Budida Bikshamaiah Goud criticised the government over non-payment of interest for crop loans under the loan waiver scheme. Speaking to the media at Rajapet mandal headquarters on Thursday, he said postcard campaign was going on in all the villages of the mandal demanding Tapaspally water. He demanded the government fill all the water bodies in the mandal for both drinking and irrigation purposes.

He asked the government to show its affection towards the farmers by paying all the pending interests to the waived off bank loans in order to relieve them from the clutches of bankers.
