10-day skill development programme begins in Ongole

A 10-day skill development programme commenced from Monday for a batch of 20 students of Markapuram Government ITI students at Chirala under the Siemens training project. The programme is being conducted under the aegis of the AP Skill Development Corporation.

St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology principal Dr Ravi Kumar asked the students to improve their skills by learning the modern technological advancements. The teachers are imparting training of electrical house-wiring and home appliances repair to the students.
Markapuram Govt ITI was represented by M Nagendra Acharya at the inaugural ceremony. AP Skill Development Corporation trainer SK Baji is conducting the training session for the students.
