Bhadrachalam: The annual Dhammaka Seva Yatra will be conducted on Friday in which a large number of tribals will participate, said Sita-Rama temple officials here on Thursday.

On that occasion, deities will be decorated with colourful flowers and special pujas will be conducted in the temple. The programme is conducted every year by Sri Sita Rama Chandra Swamy Devastanam.

The temple officials said that all arrangements are in place to conduct the Seva Yatra. The buses to ferry devotees are sent to the tribal mandals such as Charla,, VR Puram,and Venkatrapuram, located in the Bhadrachalam division.

The temple is providing free transport and accommodation facilities to the tribal devotees participating in the event. The special Kalyanam of Lord Govindaraju Swamy will be conducted here at Govnidha Raju Swamy temple in Tatagudi for the tribal devotees. On Friday morning a procession of deities will be taken out in which tribals will present their traditional dance.

On account of the lunar eclipse, the temple will be closed at 2 Pm on Friday, after the completion of all pujas. The temple will reopen on Saturday at 8 am. The devotees will be allowed in the temple for the darshan of Lord Rama.
