Revant scolds officials for tardy hospital works
Even though two years have passed since the State government had sanctioned 50bed hospital in Kodangal and Kosgi mandals, the works of these hospitals are progressing at a snails pace, said Kodangal MLA and Congress leader Revanth Reddy while taking stock of the various development works in Kodangal on Thursday
Kodangal: Even though two years have passed since the State government had sanctioned 50-bed hospital in Kodangal and Kosgi mandals, the works of these hospitals are progressing at a snail’s pace, said Kodangal MLA and Congress leader Revanth Reddy while taking stock of the various development works in Kodangal on Thursday.
Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Municipal Administration building in Kodangal and later took part in a review meeting with the members of the Hospital Development Committee in Kosgi. Revanth Reddy said that before the formation of Telangana, Kodangal was only a major grama panchyati, but now it has been converted into a municipality and there is a huge flow of funds for its development.
He directed the concerned municipal officials to ensure that Kodangal municipality is developed into a model municipality and asked them to construct roads, drains and install water pipelines and construct water tanks wherever necessary so that the people of Kodangal are not deprived of basic facilities.
He later took part in a review meeting with the Kosgi Hospital Development Review Committee members and lambasted the concerned contractor for the slow pace of construction works of the Government hospital in Kosgi mandal.
The MLA directed the contractor and the local officials of Kosgi to ensure all the development works are xpedited. Later, the MLA felicitated the members of new grama panchayat, sarpanches and others in Kosgi mandal. The MLA appreciated the sarpanches and said that Kodangal and Kosgi mandal are fast picking up pace in development.
