District has potential for growth in tourism sector

Kothagudem: The district has enough potential of growth of tourism as it has several tourism spots, said District Rural Development Agency Project Director P. Jagath Kumar Reddy.
On Account of World Tourist Day, the District Tourism Department conducted a celebration programme in the coal town on Thursday. On that occasion, a rally was taken out by the students which was flagged off by the DRDA project director.
He said Bhadradri-Kothagudem is one of the best tourist spots in the State particularly, Kinnersaani, Parnasala and Famous Lord Rama Temple which are regularly visited by the people from all corners of the country.
On every weekend, people throng these famous tourist places in the district. He suggested the students to create awareness about the tourist places in the district.
People across the country and world should know about the tourist places in state. District Public Relation Officer S Srinivas Rao, Rajesh, Anil, Ch Srnivas, Prasad, District Artists Association members Swapna, Jagan, Kumariand other officers and students attended the programme.
