Bathukamma celebrations start in district

Kothagudem: Celebrations of Bathukamma festival started on Monday across the district. Women were seen participating in the celebrations and playing Bathukamma with enthusiasm. They sang songs and danced happily during the celebrations.

Before the programme in Kothagudem area, the Area Seva president K Deepthy Ramana Murthy inaugurated the driving courses for women conducted by the Seva Samithi.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the Seva Samithi is conducting many useful vocational courses for women son that they could become financially independent. DGM Personal P Srinivas, DYDM KiranBabu, and Co-ordinators Ramesh, Sagar, Sai Krishna, and other women organisers attended the programme.
