Musheerabad: Suspended RTC employees have been protesting at RTC Bhavan here for the last three days, with a demand for reinstatement. Around 5,000 employees have been suspended so far. The protesters alleged that they were suspended based on petty reasons and condemned the attitude of RTC officials for neglecting their demand even after three days of protest.

They questioned as to why bus conductors are held responsible if passengers do not buy tickets and argued that on trains, passengers alone are held responsible for ticketless journey. They said that they would stage protest, along with their family members, if they are not reinstated. Secretary of All Employees Union BN Reddy, Yadaiah, Ganesh, Omkar, Narsimha Reddy, Praveen and others participated in the protest.
