District Collector Sayed Omer Jaleel on Thursday made a whirlwind visit to district government hospital and interacted with patients in wards He inquired the treatment has been providing to them
Tandur: District Collector Sayed Omer Jaleel on Thursday made a whirlwind visit to district government hospital and interacted with patients in wards. He inquired the treatment has been providing to them. When one of the patients complained about approaching outside diagnosis centre for x-ray, the hospital staff informed the Collector about the non-functioning of equipment.
As the Collector questioned their neglience, hospital Superintendent in-charge Dr Ravishankar replied that just two days back only he took the charge and would attend to the need. The Collector also visited pharmaceutical store room and verified the records. Some of the patients complained that the staff there were collecting money from lactating women.
The Collector also noticed garbage piled up on the hospital premises. Later, speaking to press persons, he said that they would solve all the problems within one month. He ordered the officials to provide drinking water and toilets.
