Khammam: Nearly 881 candidates attended the 17th day of physical tests for the selection of police constables posts, in Khammam on Friday. Of the 1,000 shortlisted candidates, 881 made to the venue while the remaining 119 candidates failed to show up.
Speaking to media on the day, police commissioner Tafseer Iqbal said that among the 881 candidates attended, only 769 could qualify after height and chest size measurements. Of the 769 qualified, 471 candidates successfully completed the events shotput, long jump and high jump and qualified for the further exam.
The selection process which happened at Parade Grounds was monitored by the Police Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner of Police Muralidhar, Shyam Sundhar of Armed Reserve, ACP Satyanarayana and others oversaw the selection process.
