Ace cameraman who walked out from Chiranjeevi’s much-hyped ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ recently over creative differences with the director and his team, has now agreed to crank camera for the much-hyped NTR biopic featuring Nandamuri star Balakrishna in the title role to be directed by Teja ‘in principle’.

‘It is true that we have approached Ravi Varman who is known for his elegant body of work,” says a source close to the unit. Infact, director Teja and Ravi Varman have worked in Telugu film ‘Jai’ but later the lensman carved a niche for himself in B-town and Tamil film industry with his work in big films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram-Leela’ alongwith ‘Dasarvatharam,’, ‘Barfi,’ and ‘7aum Arivu’ to become the sought-after cinematogapher in south India. “He liked the concept of biopic as it captures the life of legendary actor and politician to 1920 to 1990s and connected to it. Nothing fixed yet,” the source adds.
