International ranking for Kakatiya University
Kakatiya University has made a significant achievement in terms of international ranking and ranked first in Telangana State UI Green Metric World University Ranking conducted by University of Indonesia (UI).
Warangal: Kakatiya University has made a significant achievement in terms of international ranking and ranked first in Telangana State UI Green Metric World University Ranking conducted by University of Indonesia (UI).
The KU stood at fourth place at national-level while secured 117th place in the world raking. The UI has recently conducted a world university ranking to measure university campus sustainability efforts.
In an online survey it conducted sustainability programmes and policies in universities around the world portrayed in giving the rankings. The ranking is basically based on broad conceptual frame work of environment, economy and equity.
It also covered the criteria like campus setting, infrastructure, energy and climate, waste treatment, water use, transportation system and education. The university Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sayanna, Registrar Prof K Purushotham and IQAC Director Prof N Gopi Krishna have expressed their pleasure at the achievement.
