Vivekananda School to distribute clay Ganesh idols

Students, teachers and management of Vivekananda High School located at Padmakshi Road in Hanamkonda on Saturday took a pledge to conserve and protect the environment. The school management led by Directors K Somi Reddy, K Sadashiva Reddy, G Narsaiah, Manikya Rao, T Venkateshwarlu and principal Uma Rao and students took oath to celebrate upcoming Vinayaka Chathurthi festival with clay Ganesh idols.

Warangal: Students, teachers and management of Vivekananda High School located at Padmakshi Road in Hanamkonda on Saturday took a pledge to conserve and protect the environment. The school management led by Directors K Somi Reddy, K Sadashiva Reddy, G Narsaiah, Manikya Rao, T Venkateshwarlu and principal Uma Rao and students took oath to celebrate upcoming Vinayaka Chathurthi festival with clay Ganesh idols.
They made it clear that they won’t use chemicals or plaster of paris while making Ganesh idols. Vivekananda School members and students are planning to distribute clay Ganesh idols free of cost to the devotees. Directors Somi Reddy and Sadashiva Reddy informed that they would banish plastic and polythene bag usage in daily life. An aggressive campaign with GWMC would be launched on ill-effects of plastic and polythene use.
