Aim to promote Kuchipudi
Sudam Tejaswini Nunna, a 26yearold, Kuchipudi danseuse completed her MA in Kuchipudi in 20132015 from Potti Sriramulu Telugu University and she has bagged medals in both general and womens category for being the overall topper in academics
Sudam Tejaswini Nunna, a 26-year-old, Kuchipudi danseuse completed her MA in Kuchipudi in 2013-2015 from Potti Sriramulu Telugu University and she has bagged medals in both general and women’s category for being the overall topper in academics.
Tejaswini pursued Bachelor of Engineering in IT from Osmania University, however, she felt that Kuchipudi is her calling. “I was inspired to take this artform because of my mother Sudam Satya and she is also my guru. She has been teaching me Kuchipudi since my childhood,” she shared.
Tejaswini informed that marriage did not stop her from pursuing her passion and now she has relocated to New Zealand with her husband Sravan Kumar. “I started performing in New Zealand and it gives me immense pride to showcase my traditions in this country.”
Tejaswini stated that she will soon start workshops and reach people through online classes. “My aim is to promote Kuchipudi in every part of the world.”
