Hyderabad: In view of two-day all India bank strike starting from midnight of September 25-26 and the subsequent weekend, banks will remain closed for four days in a row from September 26 to 29.

According to bank officials, bank employees will go on strike on September 26 (Thursday) and 27 (Friday) in protest against bank mergers and in support of other demands.

However, some banks may work as all employees may not take part in the strike.

Further, banks will remain closed on September 28 (4th Saturday) and September 29 (Sunday). Besides, there will be a bank holiday on October 2 on account of Gandhi Jayanthi.
