A eight-year-old girl died while carrying out Pattana Pragati works in Subhash Nagar in Warangal Urban district. It is learned that a portion of collapsed on the girl during the works.
She was identified as Boddu Princy, who is pursuing fourth standard is daughter of Sambasiva Rao, a carpenter. She died when bucket of earth-digger knocked the wall in front of Sambasiva Rao's house.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to MGM hospital for post-mortem.
MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar of Warangal west expressed grief over the incident and offered condolences to the family. He offered Rs 5 lakh compensation to the family along with a job throughthe outsourcing system.
