ASI dies in car-truck collision in Karimnagar
An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) attached to Sultanabad police station of Peddapalli district has died after his car and a truck collided head-on on Wednesday.
An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) attached to Sultanabad police station of Peddapalli district has died after his car and a truck collided head-on on Wednesday. He was identified as Tirupati.
The incident occurred when the ASI was returning home from Sultanabad after his duty. Passersby alerted the police who registered a case and launched an investigation. His body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem.
On May 31, 2020 - an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) working at Ramakrishnapur police station died after he fell off the of a residential quarter in Jannaram mandal of Mancherial district. He was identified Adellu (54), a native of Ichoda mandal. According to the police, Adellu suffered serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. He is survived by a wife and three daughters.
The ASI fell from the building while he was watering a shed that is constructed adjacent to the building.
