A major road accident was averted on Tuesday morning in the Jagityal district headquarters. A private school bus that was taking the students to the school was rammed into by an RTC-hired bus near the local Forest Department office.

According to the details, private school bus was carrying students to the school when an RTC-hired bus collided with it from the opposite side. It was the speed of the RTC bus that made the private school bus out of control near the Forest Department office. A number of students had boarded the private bus.

The damage to both the buses was minimal and no one was injured as they were all able to get down from the vehicles due to the driver’s alertness. The parents who received the news about the accident reached the spot in a state of panic. They were later relieved to know that their wards were safe.

The police had also arrived at the spot and registered a case against the RTC-hired bus and are probing into the matter. The parents are seeking that stringent action be taken against the incident.
