Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said that Telangana State received Rs 19,192 crore from the Centre since 2014.

Reiterating that the Centre was committed to the welfare and development of the Telangana, he said on Monday that since the Narendra Modi government came to power at the Centre in 2014, it had been providing huge funds to Telangana under the six schemes.

The funds were disbursed under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana ( SAGY), Syama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission (SPMRM ), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana and Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (DDUGKY & RSETIs), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), he added.
