Hyderabad: Maredu Ramu, an upcoming artist, bagged an award at the 12th Annual Indian Royal Academy Awards 2018 in Gulbarga on Sunday.
The topic of the competition was Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary.
The painting with Mahatma Gandhi in loin cloth with the historic Charminar in the background won him the award.
Earlier this month, Ramu also got an award at the 3rd National Art Exhibition and Awards Function held at the Amaravati Art Festival held in Guntur.
