Civic chief conducts surprise inspection in Mancherial
Municipal Commissioner G Swarupa Rani conducted surprise inspection of hotels and imposed fines in Mancherial town on Monday. She inspected Sridarshini hotel and imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 to the hotel management for poor cleanliness.

A fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed on Sri Venkateshwara Biryani hotel at Luxittipet road; imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 to a kirana store at Medariwada for selling banned plastic items; and imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 to a house owner for keeping wood on the road.
Speaking on the occasion, the civic chief told the people not to throw garbage on road and drainages and to use dust bins and dump the trash in municipal trolleys. The locals were warned not to use banned plastic items. She warned the hotel managements of imposing fines, if they don't maintain hygiene.Sanitary inspector Srinivas, health inspector Sunil Rathod, environment inspector Nagaraju and others accompanied her.
