Clean and green drive at Pendlimadugu

A clean and green programme was organised at Pendlimadugu village on Sunday. It was held as part of the 30-day action plan announced by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Streets of the village were cleaned and the pits where water stagnated were filled.

Later, a meeting was organised at the panchayat office to accept donations from the villagers. Sarpanch of the village K Butchireddy donated Rs 2,50,000 for setting up a mineral water plant in presence of panchayat officer and MPP. MPP Chandrakala and co-option member J Dasharath Reddy donated Rs 5,000 each while the villagers collected a sum of Rs 19,650 for the development of their village.
