The Collector held a National Rurban works funds review meeting with officials. She reviewed the works to taken up by different departments and required funds. Under National Rurban Mission scheme, Kuntala mandal selected as cluster and sanctioned Rs 15 crore funds. Animal Husbandry department would be established, Milk Chilling Centre, bio degradable bags unit at Kuntala.

Under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme cemeteries would be constructed. Under district industrial department sanitary napkins manufacturing units and educational department toilets, compound walls in school will be constructed.

Electricity department will install street lights and on-off system; central lighting system and other works will be taken up for the development with the different departments.

Collector instructed the officials concerned to call for tender's works in faster way.

District Rural Development Officer Venkateshwarlu, Rand B SE Srinivas Rao, Electricity Se Chawhan, DPO Srinivas, Animal Husbandary officer Ramesh Kumar, Horticulture officer Sharath Kumar, MPDO Devendar Reddy , Sridhar, Soma Linga Reddy, Naveen others were present.

Collector also said that under the Panchayat Raj department to construct Gram Panchayat buildings with estimation cost of Rs 16 lakhs for each gram panchayat in Ambakantiwada, Aarli, Timmapur, Burugupalli, Nandal, Bhemini(B), Suryanagar, Medhanpur, Vekupur GPs under Kuntala mandal. And also to establish cemeteries, CC roads, severages, will be constructed she said.
