District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini has reviewed the construction of double bedroom houses in the district with the department officials of Panchayat Raj, Engineering and Revenue at the Collectorate meeting hall in Kothagudem on Tuesday.
Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini has reviewed the construction of double bedroom houses in the district with the department officials of Panchayat Raj, Engineering and Revenue at the Collectorate meeting hall in Kothagudem on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector reviewed the mandal-wise construction details of double bedroom houses and enquired with Tahsildars the progress of construction and the list of houses completed. Stating that houses in tribal areas should be allotted only to tribals, the Collector said the allotment of houses should be done through a draw of lots. He directed the officials to speed up construction works and complete them in the stipulated time.
Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu, Sub-Collector Bavesh Mishra, District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar, Panchayat Raj Executive Engineer Sudhakar, Tribal Welfare Department Engineer Koti Reddy and other officials attended the meeting.
