City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Wednesday has interacted with 114 patrol car officers of East Zone of Hyderabad city at Nizam College Grounds and also inspected 19 patrol car vehicles of East Zone.

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Wednesday has interacted with 114 patrol car officers of East Zone of Hyderabad city at Nizam College Grounds and also inspected 19 patrol car vehicles of East Zone.

The CP appreciated 32 officers for their performance in tracing a missing girl, finding a cell phone, apprehension of accused, catching the accused red-handed, usage of IT initiatives and maintaining good relations with communities.

Addressing the gathering, he gave a call to the patrolling officers to emphasise on the importance of community policing and asked them to use the modern technology in day-to-day patrolling and provide better safety and security to the citizens.

He stated that patrol car officer is a brand ambassador for city police and their performance. The CP also stressed on zero tolerance of drinking alcohol in public places, zero tolerance in crime against women, safety and security of women in Hyderabad city.
